If your the type of person with a Defensiveplayer as your superstar (MLB, DT, DB, etc) andyour having trouble with training camp thenlisten up. In Superstar Mode on All Pro Level for Areceiver, when you become good enough to getaccess to the Performance institute you canupgrade your receiver before each game. For awhile you can only get a max of 5 point for agold trophy and after that you can get a max of 7points for a gold trophy.
I started doing thiswhen I started getting 7 pionts max.The trick is( I have tried this several times and it hasworked every time so far) is right before thegame you can do this upgrade and add theattribute points where you want. When you exitthe upgrade session and get ready to go play yournext game, go the that day to play your game, getto the controller select screen where you canselect your profile/uniform/playbook etc and thenexit back out and go back to the PerformanceInstitute and do it again until you are happywith your attributes. I have not had a limit ofhow many times I can do it so far but this ispertaining to a receiver Superstar who alreadyhas obtained the level of Superstar and has amansion. It may work for other positions as well,but I have not tried it yet. Right now I am 3years into my Superstar and just stumbled uponthis little trick. Again, I don't know if thiswill work for other positions but I have a 99 onall my major attributes for a receiver.
To upgrade in superstar mode quickly, you simplyturn the A.I. Settings in your favor. Thenselect a passing play from 'single back NORMAL'formation (would not recomend playaction). Forthe defensive play select goaline, blitz 'c' orwhich ever one it is that has all threelinebackers going. Drop back and throw tothe 'slot' reciever (L1) he will always beopen. You may mess with it, such as make TEblock ect.

There was a LOT of assistance needed for CPUs though.Some things I learned:cut some players off Jets, Broncos, Browns.All the other teams, when prompted, just keep simming.
It should work most of the time - if not, then manually cut a player or so.If it's annoying, you can try to use NZA Madden Editor to play as one team from the start. I had issues with this in the past on PSP though as the CPU is still brain dead on first season. After year 1, they are smart again.
